Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sceneflow (the "Service"), a browser-based tool that breaks a script into sentences, generates search keywords using AI, and searches Pexels and Pixabay for matching stock footage that you can preview, select, and download. By purchasing a license key or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase a license key or use the Service.
2. What Sceneflow Is
Sceneflow is a client-side tool. Once you have a valid license key and your own API keys for Groq, Pexels, and Pixabay, your browser talks directly to those providers to generate keywords and fetch footage. We do not host, proxy, cache, or store your script, your API keys, or the footage returned by these providers.
3. License Key & Access
3.1 No accounts
There is no signup or login system. Access to the Service is controlled solely by a license key that you purchase.
3.2 Purchase
A license key must be purchased in order to access and use the Service. All sales are subject to the payment terms presented at checkout. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, license keys are non-transferable and non-refundable once activated, except where required by applicable law.
3.3 Validity
The Service checks your license key against our licensing system to confirm it is active before granting access. You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential. We reserve the right to deactivate a license key that is shared, resold, abused, or used in violation of these Terms.
4. Your Own API Keys
To use Sceneflow beyond accessing it, you must supply your own API keys for:
- Groq — for AI-generated keyword extraction from your script.
- Pexels — for stock footage search results.
- Pixabay — for stock footage search results.
These keys are entered and used entirely within your browser and are never sent to or stored on our servers. You are solely responsible for:
- obtaining these keys in compliance with each provider's own terms of service;
- any usage limits, costs, or charges incurred against your keys;
- keeping your keys secure, since we have no ability to see, reset, or recover them.
5. Your Content
"Your Content" means the scripts you paste into Sceneflow, and the keywords, search results, and footage generated or retrieved as a result. Your Content is and remains yours. We do not claim ownership over it, and because it is processed client-side, we generally have no access to it at all.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any script content you submit, and for how you use any stock footage you download — including complying with the license terms of Pexels and/or Pixabay for each specific clip.
6. Stock Footage Licensing (Pexels & Pixabay)
Sceneflow helps you find and download footage from Pexels and Pixabay — it does not grant you any rights to that footage itself. Your ability to use downloaded clips (commercially or otherwise) is governed entirely by the license terms of Pexels and Pixabay respectively, not by Sceneflow. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with those providers' license terms for every clip you use.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- share, resell, or sublicense your license key to third parties in violation of the purchase terms;
- attempt to bypass, crack, or circumvent the license key verification system;
- use the Service to submit scripts or generate searches for unlawful, infringing, or malicious purposes;
- use the Service in any way that violates the terms of service of Groq, Pexels, or Pixabay;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service beyond what is inherently visible in client-side code, for the purpose of building a competing product.
8. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that search results will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose, nor that Groq, Pexels, or Pixabay will remain available or free at any given time. We are not responsible for outages, rate limits, pricing changes, or policy changes on the part of these third-party providers.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including any issues arising from your own API keys, third-party provider outages, or footage licensing disputes. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license key.
10. Termination
We may suspend or deactivate a license key at any time if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated. You may stop using the Service at any time; since no account or personal data is stored on our end beyond license validation records, there is no "account" to delete beyond your license key.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed through the support channel listed on your purchase confirmation or license portal.
